Anna Archna Kumari Madan
Office Manager
Hello, my name is Anna Archna Kumari Madan. I am the Office Manager at Healing Haven and my role is to help facilitate care by supporting our team and patients in attaining a positive comfortable experience on their journey to improving their health and wellness. Aside from daily administrative duties, I also treat patients with other alternative modalities from acupuncture to massage. I specialize in machines that utilize sound and light frequencies to help break down scar tissue, and inflammation as well as treat such conditions as arthritis, Bursitis, frozen shoulder, knee pain, low back and sciatica pain, and plantar fasciitis. The laser treatment is ideal for TMJ, carpal tunnel, and wrist pain. The most satisfying part of my job is making people feel better and pain-free.
Before Healing Haven, I was working part-time at Aloha Sports Chiropractic as an Office Manager and personal injury Coordinator. Working with the chiropractor helped me gain a better understanding of the anatomy of pain. Working with acupuncturists, I have a deeper respect for the understanding of the root cause and origin of pain and nutrition. I am grateful for Phil and his generous nature in making it possible to offer these expensive cutting-edge treatments at a lower cost to our patients and better alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs and surgeries.
Here’s a little about Me: I migrated to the USA from India with my parents and two siblings back in 1981. Hindi is my first spoken language. I was exposed to different religions, bodywork, and homemade remedies early on. All our cooking was done from scratch and our food was fresh. My Mom, Om, was my first healer and the most illuminating loving presence in my life. She also created homemade and other healing remedies to nourish my hair and skin, and massage, “maalish” us with oils from my infancy to adolescence. It’s her divine grace, wisdom, and healing touch that has given me a deep sense of compassion and love for helping others. The simplicity and purity of my childhood have been essential to embrace life to the fullest.
Initially, I began my career at IBM in manufacturing and went on to work at the largest contracted manufacturers, primarily in purchasing and logistics. Subsequently, I graduated with Honors from UCSC with a BME degree w/an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. I worked with two of the largest accounting firms in the world, EY and PwC. I obtained post-graduate certification in Program Project Management and simultaneously completed a certification in Medical Billing. I worked as a Tax Accountant at Driscoll’s and eventually went on to consulting. After my last contract, I quit my day job to take care of my mom full-time. We underwent serious events due to her Diabetes. Managing her care was when I gained a greater appreciation for healing with love.I migrated to the USA from India with my parents and two siblings back in 1981. Hindi is my first spoken language. I am a proud Mama of my two kids, Dylan who’s an amazing Dad, and Jasmine who is currently attending NYU – Stern Business School. My greatest joys in life are being a grandma to Mr. Owen and traveling/ exploring. I also mentor students as part of the UCSC Smith Society. Nature, nutritious foods, and exercise are my healers along with Healing Haven. Again, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your healing journey. Love and Namaste.
